RUN FLIP, RUN
I love running. And I love food. Which is a ridiculously awesome combination, 'cause if you want to run marathons, you need to eat.
This blog is all about getting ready for the New York Marathon November 3. In the Berlin marathon I qualified for Boston, but, as luck would have it (in hindsight), didn’t get there. So this marathon is all about running redemption. I have five months, a time in mind, so I need to Run, Flip, Run.
Am I hungry? Oh yes.
A marathon is just the final run in a very long series of very long runs. Many months of runs. Some people ask what it takes to run one, well, this blog will help you find out. Some people think they can’t run one. As I am starting from a fitness base of, ah, zero, this may inspire you to get out there and get your own run on.
If you want a running blog, chase www.runnersworld.com. If after simply food, bite www.notquitenigella. But if interested in some running updates from an average lass who will run kilometres for bacon and avocado snackies (check out Super Saturdays), read the updates as I pound the pavements on the way to NYC.
Happy hoofing,
Flip x
